The therapist. Rivas holds a clinical license as a bicultural, bilingual social worker. She has more than 13 years' experience within non-profits. She has worked with a variety of populations such as LGBTQ+, individuals with problems with substance abuse, people who are victims of sexual abuse and violence within intimate relationships, etc. Since the beginning of 2019 she has been working with Mrs. Rivas is serving Erie's patients. She is currently offering Telehealth Behavioral Health services. Mrs. Rivas has worked with postpartum and prenatal mothers for more than a decade. She is an expert in treating trauma-informed patients and offers EMDR to adults. She also offers both private and group therapy, medication-assisted treatment, referral for specialty care as well as Women's support groups. Amanda is a tireless advocate for finding permanent homes for animals in need through her role as a Best Friends Animal Society Volunteer. She believes in the slogan that is the motto of Best Friends, "Save Them all" And she's determined to make Los Angeles into a city which doesn't harm animals.
