
Jennifer dreamed of all her life to become a multitasking super star. She was an avid fan of many different styles of music when she was a child, and particularly Afro-Caribbean dances like merengue, salsa, and merengue and bachata. When she was an adult, her top genres were mainstream pop-hop, R&B along with hip-hop. While she was a fan of music, the film industry attracted her. Her biggest influence was the Rita Moreno musical, West Side Story (1961). At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Apart from becoming a skilled performer Jennifer was also a Catholic schoolgirlwho attended eight years of the Catholic primary school known as Holy Family which was located within The Bronx, before graduating from an all-girls preschool, Preston High School after a four-year stay. At high school, Jennifer was an amazing athlete, playing track and field and tennis. Her home in the Castle Hill neighbourhood was her house for the duration of her time. When she was 18, Jennifer moved out of her parents' home. Lopez was employed in an office for lawyers while partying during the night.
